- Adults ≥18 years with stable kidney function; creatinine assay traceable to IDMS.
- Limitations
- Not validated in pregnancy, acute kidney injury, limb amputation, extremes of muscle mass or body habitus.
- Cystatin-C based estimation and measured clearance are not captured here.
- eGFR is an estimate, not a measured GFR; clinical decisions need corroboration.
