This policy explains what Pharmapedia Pro collects, why, and what we do with it. It covers the Pharmapedia Pro mobile app for Android and iOS, and the website at pharmapedia.pro.

In short

• The drug reference works offline. Searching for a medicine, reading a monograph, checking a dose or an interaction, and using the calculators happen entirely on your device. We do not see what you look up.
• Prescriptions and patient details never leave your phone. They are stored only in the app's own storage on your device.
• We collect an account (if you create one), the things you choose to save, and standard app analytics and advertising data.
• Nothing about you is shown to other doctors unless you switch it on. Your qualifications and your phone number are separate switches, both off until you turn them on.
• We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information you give us

Account information. You can use most of the app without an account. If you create one, we collect what the sign-in method provides:

• Email sign-in: your email address and a password held by Google Firebase Authentication in hashed form. We never see your password.
• Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile picture, as supplied by Google.
• Phone sign-in: your phone number, verified by a one-time code.

Your profile. If you fill it in: your name, profession, phone number, and for the prescription writer your qualifications, clinic name, registration number and address.

Things you save. Your bookmarked medicines and generics, your recent searches, and any notes you attach to them.

Reports you send us. If you report a problem with a drug or brand entry, we receive that report and the entry it refers to.

Arena profile. If you play the Clinical Quiz Arena, we store the display name you choose, your scores, streaks and answer history. You choose how you appear on the leaderboard, including a pen name or anonymously.

What other doctors can see, and only if you switch it on. By default the leaderboard shows nothing but your chosen display name, your score and your streak. Three separate switches in your profile, each off until you turn it on, can add to that:

• Let colleagues open my card — other players can open a card showing your display name, score and streak.
• Show my qualifications — adds your qualifications, specialty and city to that card.
• Let colleagues contact me — adds your clinic name and phone number to that card, and lets any doctor using the app call you from it.

Turning a switch off removes that detail from our servers, not just from the screen. Your registration number is never published, whatever you switch on, and your prescription templates, the patients you write them for, and your saved items are never shared with anyone.

2. Information collected automatically

Usage analytics. We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand which features are used and where people get stuck, for example that a screen was opened or a subscription screen was shown. These events are tied to a random app instance identifier, not to your name.

Advertising. Free users see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device and advertising identifiers to select and measure ads. On iOS, personalised ads are only used if you allow tracking when the app asks; if you decline, you still see ads, but non-personalised ones. Pro subscribers see no ads at all.

Subscriptions. Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play. We never receive your card details. RevenueCat processes subscription events for us and, if you are signed in, links your subscription to your account so it follows you to a new phone.

Notifications. If you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging issues a device token so we can send you messages.

Technical data. Ordinary information needed to run an internet service, such as IP address, device model, operating system version and app version.

3. What stays on your device

• Prescriptions and patient details. Everything you type into the prescription writer, including patient names, and every prescription you create or save as a template, is stored only in the app's local storage. It is not uploaded to us. If you share a prescription PDF, you choose where it goes.
• The drug database. The full reference ships inside the app and is read locally.
• Doctor profile for the letterhead and app settings are also stored locally, and a copy of your profile is saved to your account if you are signed in.

5. Who we share it with

We share only with the services needed to run the app:

• Google Firebase (authentication, database, notifications, analytics), Google AdMob (advertising), Supabase (Arena leaderboard), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple and Google for payments.

They process data on our behalf under their own terms. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Keeping your information

• Account data is kept while your account exists.
• Deleting your account removes your account record, saved items and profile from our databases, including anything shown on your Arena card. You can do this in the app under Delete Your Account, by following https://pharmapedia.pro/delete-account, or by emailing us.
• Analytics and advertising data are retained for the periods set by Google's default settings.
• Leaderboard entries may remain in aggregate scores after deletion, without your name attached.

7. Your choices

• Ads: on iOS, change tracking in Settings → Privacy & Tracking. On Android, reset or delete your advertising ID in Google settings. Subscribing to Pro removes ads entirely.
• Notifications: turn them off in your device settings.
• Leaderboard: change your display name at any time, or choose a pen name or anonymity.
• Access, correction and deletion: contact us and we will help. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to certain processing.

8. Children

Pharmapedia Pro is made for doctors, pharmacists, nurses and students in the health professions. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

9. Security

Data in transit is encrypted. Access to our databases is restricted by security rules so that account data can only be read and written by the account that owns it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and fix problems quickly.

10. International transfers

Our providers, including Google, Supabase and RevenueCat, run servers in several countries, so your information may be processed outside Pakistan.

11. Medical disclaimer

Pharmapedia Pro is a reference tool for healthcare professionals. It does not practise medicine, does not give medical advice, and does not replace clinical judgement. Always check critical information against the product literature and local guidelines.

12. Changes

We will update this page when the app changes, and the date at the top will change with it. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
