Overview

Acefylline also known as acetyloxytheophylline, is a stimulant drug of the xanthine chemical class. It acts as an adenosine receptor antagonist. It is used in bronchitis and in bronchial asthma.

Indications

Acefylline is primarily indicated in conditions like , Asthma, emphysema, acute and chronic bronchitis associated with bronchospasm, Bronchospasm, Muscle relaxation (rapid onset, short duration).

Contraindications

Acefylline is contraindicated in conditions like Allergy, Rhinitis, Urticaria, Angioedema.
