Overview
Dioctahedral smectite is a natural adsorbent clay formed of fine sheets of aluminomagnesium silicate. Smectite has been found to adsorb viruses, bacteria, and bacterial toxins, thus protecting the intestinal mucosa.
Indications
Dioctahedral Semctite is primarily indicated in conditions like Diarrhoea, GI diseases, Oesophageal motility disorders.

Side Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Dioctahedral Smectite are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Aggravation of constipation.
Warnings
Avoid use in case of hypersensitivity to Dioctahedral Smectite or any component
