Overview
Indocyanine green injection is a medical dye used in tests to help determine the cardiac (heart) output, liver function, and blood flow in the liver. It is also used to help certain parts of the eye to become more visible during medical procedures such as angiography. Indocyanine green injection is also used to help diagnose or find problems in your blood vessels, blood flow and tissue perfusion before, during, and after a surgery or transplant, bile ducts, or lymph nodes and lymph vessels in the breast, cervix, or uterus in women with solid tumors. This medicine is to be given only by or under the supervision of your doctor.

Contraindications
Indocyanine Green is contraindicated in conditions like Uremia.
Side Effects
Along with its needed effects, a medicine may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention. Check with your doctor or nurse immediately if any of the following side effects occur: Incidence not known Chest tightness cough difficulty with swallowing dizziness fast heartbeat hives or welts, itching, skin rash puffiness or swelling of the eyelids or around the eyes, face, lips, or tongue redness of the skin unusual tiredness or weakness Other side effects not listed may also occur in some patients. Warnings
Do not dilute with solutions containing salts. Dissolve the dye as per instructions given in the leaflet. For single use only. Do not autoclave. Should be used in pregnancy only after carefully considering the benefits and risks.
High Risk Groups
Drug should not be given to Pregnant Mothers.If prescribing authority justifies the benefits of the drug against the possible damages he/she should reevaluate them and consult the reference material and previous studies.

Drug Interactions
