Overview
Padimate is a sunscreen with similar actions to that of aminobenzoic acid.
Indications
Padimate-O is primarily indicated in conditions like Sunburn.
Contraindications
Padimate-O is contraindicated in conditions like Hypersensitivity to any component of product.
Side Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Padimate-O are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Skin reactions, Allergic contact dermatitis, Vitiligo.
Warnings
Aminobenzoate sunscreens should not be used by patients with previous experience of photosensitivity or hypersensitivity reaction to chemically related drugs such as sulphonamides, thiazide diuretics, and certain local anesthetics, particularly benzocaine.
