Overview
Phenazocine (HBr) is a narcotic analgesic similar to morphine. Phenazocine (HBr) is used to relieve moderate to severe pain, with less sedation, vomiting and hypotension than morphine.
Indications
Phenazocine (HBr) is primarily indicated in conditions like Pain.
Contraindications
Phenazocine (HBr) is contraindicated in conditions like Alcohol dependence, Convulsions, Respiratory depression, Delirium tremens, Coma, Obstructive airway disease, Myxedema.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Phenazocine (HBr), which give rise to further complications include Dependency. The signs and symptoms that are produced after the acute overdosage of Phenazocine (HBr) include Respiratory depression.
