Overview
Pyrethrins in the form of pyrethrum extract have been used as an insecticide. Clinically, Pyrethrins is used in the treatment of pediculosis.
Indications
Pyrethrins is primarily indicated in conditions like Pediculosis.
Contraindications
Pyrethrins is contraindicated in conditions like Hypersensitivity to any component of product.
Side Effects
The severe or irreversible adverse effects of Pyrethrins, which give rise to further complications include Rashes, Itching, Hives. The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Pyrethrins are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Hypersensitivity reactions.
Warnings
For external use only. Do not use near the eye, in eyelashes or eyebrows. Avoid contact with mucosal tissues.
