Overview
Rabies antisera has been used to provide passive immunization against Rabies.
Indications
Rabies Antisera is primarily indicated in conditions like Prevention of rabies.
Contraindications
Rabies Antisera is contraindicated in conditions like Hypersensitivity to any component of product.
Side Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Rabies Antisera are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Fever, Anaphylactoid reactions, Dyspnea, Rashes, Urticaria, Pruritus, Hypotension.
Warnings
Despite the high degree of purification of the serum, it is recommended to perform a skin test before administering heterologus serum.
