Overview
Ruscogenin used in the local treatment of hemorrhoids. It is given as rectal ointment or suppositories.
Indications
Ruscogenin is primarily indicated in conditions like Atherosclerosis, Diuresis, Hemorrhoids, Jaundice.
Contraindications
Ruscogenin is contraindicated in conditions like Hypertension, Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Side Effects
The symptomatic adverse reactions produced by Ruscogenin are more or less tolerable and if they become severe, they can be treated symptomatically, these include Nausea.
Warnings
Avoid its use if patient suffering from high blood pressure.
High Risk Groups
Drug should not be given to Pregnant Mothers. If prescribing authority justifies the benefits of the drug against the possible damages he/she should reevaluate them and consult the reference material and previous studies.
