Zinc is a naturally occurring mineral. Zinc is important for growth and for the development and health of body tissues.

Contraindications

Side Effects
Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction : hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Adult Dosage
50 to 0 mg (25 (25)) 8 hourly PO — As zinc sulphate and zinc gluconate.
6.5 to 0 mg (3.2 (3.25)) 24 hourly IV — As zinc sulphate and zinc chloride.
Scraped Dose — Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
The recommended daily dose of zinc sulfate changes with age. Follow your healthcare provider's instructions. You may also consult the Office of Dietary Supplements of the NIH, or the USDA Nutrient Database of recommended daily allowances for more information.
Take Zinc-220 with a full glass of water.
Take Zinc-220 with food if it upsets your stomach.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
