If you think a medicine has caused an unwanted effect, contact a healthcare professional for advice about care and further treatment. A safety report is not a request for emergency treatment. Seek urgent medical help for severe symptoms.

Reporting helps safety monitoring

The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan provides channels for reporting suspected adverse events. Patients and caregivers can raise concerns, and healthcare professionals can help report them. A report records a suspicion; it does not by itself prove that a medicine caused the event.

Prepare a clear account

Write down the medicine name, when it was started, what happened and when symptoms began. Keep the packaging and prescription available for your clinician. Describe other medicines taken at the same time. Avoid posting personal medical details in public comments.
