The purpose of this topic is to help a medical person to prepare himself to manage a cardiac arrest (the term cardiac arrest is really a misnomer. What we really mean by it is “circulatory arrest”).
Diagnosis
Absence of major pulsations (specifically the carotid or the femoral) is the single most important sign of cardiac arrest. Spend a maximum of five to ten seconds only, to check pulsations.
