Features
Symptoms include itching, grittiness, redness, stringy discharge, and occasionally, and photophobia. It may be seasonal (hay fever), developing usually during the spring or summer, or perennial.
Management of Allergic conjunctivitis
- Zolopat eye drops 2 x 4 times for 5 days
- FML eye drops 2 x 4times for 5 days
- Tab - Softin (Loratadine) or Zyrtec / Rigix (Cetirizine) 10mg or any other oral anti - allergic 1 tablet PO x OD at night for 5 days
- Advise photo gray glasses
- Also, de - worm the patient.
