  • Admit the patient
  • Pass N/G tube or IV Line
  • Stop Diuretics
  • Protein restriction
  • Syp Lactulose (Duphalac) 2TSF x TDS
  • Lactulose enema
  • Inf Metronidazole (Flagyl) 500mg IV TDS
  • Inj ceftriaxone (Oxidil) 1gm IV BD
  • Inj Omeprazole (Risek) 40mg in 100ml pladex
  • Inf D/Saline 1L IV TDS
  • Also add KCl if k deficient
  • Inj Vit-k
  • Platelets transfusion if less than 20,000
  • Syp Liver protective (Hepamerz) 2TSF x BD
