- Admit the patient
- Pass N/G tube or IV Line
- Stop Diuretics
- Protein restriction
- Syp Lactulose (Duphalac) 2TSF x TDS
- Lactulose enema
- Inf Metronidazole (Flagyl) 500mg IV TDS
- Inj ceftriaxone (Oxidil) 1gm IV BD
- Inj Omeprazole (Risek) 40mg in 100ml pladex
- Inf D/Saline 1L IV TDS
- Also add KCl if k deficient
- Inj Vit-k
- Platelets transfusion if less than 20,000
- Syp Liver protective (Hepamerz) 2TSF x BD
