  • Tab Methyldopa (Aldomet) 250mg 1x BD
  • Emergency then Prazocin and labetolol
  • If Eclampsia then Tab Hydralazine 25mg 1x BD
  • HTN emergency ward:
  • Inj Labetalol 50mg IV stat, repeat every 15 minutes
  • Tab Nifedipine (Adalat) 20mg PO repeat every 15-30 minutes
  • Inj Hydralazine 25mg IV diluted in 10ml N/saline
  • Still not controlled then Inj Nitrat 50mg IV Stat over 15 minutes
