Hypertension in Pregnancy
- Tab Methyldopa (Aldomet) 250mg 1x BD
- Emergency then Prazocin and labetolol
- If Eclampsia then Tab Hydralazine 25mg 1x BD
- HTN emergency ward:
- Inj Labetalol 50mg IV stat, repeat every 15 minutes
- Tab Nifedipine (Adalat) 20mg PO repeat every 15-30 minutes
- Inj Hydralazine 25mg IV diluted in 10ml N/saline
- Still not controlled then Inj Nitrat 50mg IV Stat over 15 minutes
