(Hyperemesis Gravidarum)
Tab Metoclopramide (Metomide) 10mg 6 hourlies
In severe cases:
- Inj Metoclopramide (Metomide) 10mg IV 6 hourly
- Tab Promethazine 25 mg 6 hourly
- Inf N/saline 1L IV BD SOS
- Correct Electrolytes balance
- If still not controlled the U/S abdomen to rule out Molar pregnancy and twins
- Drug of choice are:
- Metoclopramide 10mg TDS
- Promethazine 25mg at night
- Chlorpheniramine 4mg at night
